My mother and I randomly pulled over to your stand after deciding to get a bite to eat. I was immediately drawn to the menu having never seen tacos like yours before. We both got the fried avocado tacos and now no other taco will ever compare!! By far the best choice we could have made that day. I look forward to trying one of every kind. You are part of the reason Austin is the best city to eat in. Thank you for sharing your tacos with the world!! 6(^)6

Best tacos in town! Fried avocado, shrimp tempura and padre are my favorites! Just need a special option for my vegan/gluten free friends and a mild salsa and we would be set! I crave their food and could seriously go there every day. Spinach, bean and egg rocks for breakfast tacos!

Fact #1 - The guy who co-owns this place and co-cooks is a gourmet chef and has owned several very popular restaurants in Austin. He chooses to do this as his love.

Fact # 2 - The whole establishment is way underselling itself. See Fact #1.

Fact # 3 - This ain't no greasy, dirty, nasty taco stand. The tacos are made to order and are EXTREMELY fresh. You won't find no tasteless iceberg lettuce up in here; no, no - you will find fresh organic spinach instead, you will find that every single item that goes into your taco has been gourmet-fied in some way or fashion, you will find homemade sauces to go on each individual taco as if it were an entrée itself. And so on. And so on.

Fact # 4 - There is no other taco menu like this menu in Austin; a fried avocado taco is one example - I rest my case.

Fact # 5 - These are the absolute best tacos I have ever had in my life - anywhere, anytime, anyway.

Fact # 6 - Top all this off with friendly, personable service (they actually get out of their little trailer and bring the food to you along with lots of hey yo conversation and a sincere check-up of how you like the food) and a cute little outdoor seating area and you gots yourself quite the Austin find.

And so on.

one day I was out w/ my mom and we wanted tacos. I parked in his lot and he saw us coming back from torchy's! he came out in an apron and nicely asked that we not park there if we're going to go to torchy's, I apologized, and then he asked if we'd like to try one of his tacos. he came out in under 30 seconds w/ the awesome taco w/ the pineapple on it. he was sooooo very nice and I need to go back b/c that taco was DELICIOUS! meanwhile I think he has a thing for watches...at bender talking watches? or maybe that was another owner. regardless, these guys are nice dudes!!

Well, the tacos are excellent and so is the service..no complaints here!

However, one of the affiliated owners is quite possibly one of the worst softball players in history of mankind. He constantly pops out and I've seen stronger arms on an 8 yr old little leaguer!

D*mn good tacos, though.

So much better than Torchy's! I'll have to say, after my second time visiting, you have won me over. The Slowrider is amazing as is the queso! Going back tomorrow.

I love Izzoz. Torchy's is nice, but I found out it's some guys from California. I'm sick of Californians coming here and exploiting our culture and getting rich off our city while not contributing to local causes, etc.

I ate at Izzoz for my first time today and I have to say their old school crispy tacos are the best tacos I've ever eaten. I will be going back!
